One short film of Sandeep Malani with many awards to its name! That is wonderful indeed. At the national and international level the film ‘Jo Jo Laali’ bagged 13th award.

The recent award of this Kalpana Pandit starring cinema on a social issue HIV AIDS ‘Jo Jo Laali’ was declared best at Sydney International Film and Entertainment Festival. Malani got the award for best direction.

This is the 5th award for him. With 150 plus short films on the category, Sandeep Malani's only Kannada film screened with other language films and bags the award.

The film stars Kalpana Pandit, Akash Hora & Shrey Tejani in key roles. Music by Ameya Naik and editing by Sagar Bhatia, the film has story, screenplay and dialogues by Sandeep Malani.

The film continues to march forward across the world shining the light on the path of HIV/AIDS awareness especially vertical transmission from mother to child. It has been screened in all the major Indian Cities Bangalore, Mangalore, Mumbai, Hyderabad, Delhi, Imphal and reaching great heights with screenings in Dubai, Brazil and America.
